Chief Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for experienced Chief Engineers to stregthen our fleet of Shoalbusters. As a Chief Engineer, you will be working in a team of 4-6 crew members. In addition to your team, you are also able to conduct independent work in the engine room and you are the direct contact for our Technical Department.

We are preferably looking for candidates who are looking for a permanent job in a fixed schedule.

PROFILE

• A minimum of 12 months working experience on similar vessels (shoalbusters/multicats/harbor tugs, etc.) is a must;
• Experience with MTU engines is a must;
• Good communication and administrative skills;
• Control of Dutch and English spoken and written;
• Independent and stress-resistant;
• Leadership qualities on board and during docking;
• Experience in the management of (spare) parts; Marad experience is a plus.

DOCUMENTS

• Valid CoC “Chief engineer – no limitation” is a must;
• Valid seaman’s book, medical certificate, STCW documents;
• Valid passport> 6 months;
• Valid High Voltage certificate is a plus.
